About the Program

What is Bridging Milestones?

A youth mentorship program connecting high school students with post-secondary mentors for meaningful guidance and support.

Designed by Youth, for Youth

Bridging Milestones (BriM) is designed by youth who themselves are in post-secondary and understand the importance of proactively preparing for this transition.

The program pairs students in high school with compatible students in post-secondary for ongoing one-on-one mentorship. These biweekly sessions (2x/month) offer high school youths valuable insight on navigating secondary and post-secondary education in all aspects—from academics to extracurriculars to wellness.

Sessions also provide an enriching volunteer experience for post-secondary mentors, allowing them to give back while developing their own leadership and communication skills.

Compatibility Matching

We match based on:

  • Mentor's faculty & mentee's academic interests
  • Similar extracurricular interests
  • Career goals and aspirations

Meeting Format

One-on-one sessions are flexible—virtual or in-person as mutually agreed. All cohort meetings are held virtually.
